Lying in the foothills of the MonÃ©diÃ¨res mountains the cottage, known as "Le Champ Joli", is ideally placed for both relaxation and outdoor pursuits. Numerous footpaths and cycleways are easily accessible from the village, making this the perfect base from which to explore the beautiful Limousin countryside.

Your accommodation, formerly the workshop of a master-carpenter, has been recently and lovingly restored into a welcoming home-from-home. Sleeping up to five plus a cot, your rural Limousin holiday cottage offers two en-suite bedrooms, a large living room with a cosy wood-burner, and an airy kitchen-dining room, fully equipped to make your stay hassle-free.

Exposed beams and original stonework enhance the ambiance and rustic charm of the property, making this an inviting place to stay both inside and out. The restoration of the cottage was a labour of love, with the intention of creating a welcoming, quality holiday retreat. We believe the enthusiastic feedback from our visitors is testament to our success.

The charm and tranquility of this region is captivating - it is often referred to as the Lake District of France, and compared to the Dales of Derbyshire. Le Champ Joli stole our hearts the moment we saw it, and we are delighted to be able to share it with you. Bordered by a gently babbling stream, the cottage enjoys glorious open views across the village. Sitting on your private terrace you will lose yourself in the magic that is the heart of rural France.
